Justo

Los Angeles native, began collecting vinyl and mixing on friend's decks at 15 years old. A passion for hip hop led to discovering the acid breakbeat sound of the mid 90's. Heavily inspired by pioneers such as DJ Dan, John Kelley (Moontribe), DJ Icee, DJ Hardware, and So. Cal's Los Angeles Breakbeat Assocation, a decision was made to pursue the breakbeat exclusively. In 1999, Justo co-founded H20 Productions with life-long friend D.J.D. (aka Concise) in order to continue representing the styles they believed in. After nearly two years of independent event production (focusing on breakbeat, D&B), H20 was invited to become resident hosts for the legendary nightclub Liquid Butterfly, where they enjoyed a year-long residency as both DJs and production managers.

Graduating from Los Angeles Recording Workshop with an audio engineering certification began an intense studio hibernation that would almost completely isolate Justo from the professional DJ circuit. The time spent was not in vain, countless hours logged in the studio as both an engineer and artist have helped create a more extensive and exclusive music collection with a unique signature. Friendships with So. Cal. crews such as LABA, Green Sector, 26C, Distant Beat & Alien's Underground affords a strong support network & path for re-entry.
